Reading and books
The year 4 Reading Gladiators group love exploring the exciting and varied range of books.
Year 3 and 4 have a passion for reading.
In Year 3 and 4 we have a passion for reading. We love exploring books individually and as a class.
We enjoy our class book which our adults read to us most days. This book changes termly or half termly and often fits in with our topic.
During our 2 years in Willow class we will explore 9 books as class in this way.
We have a wide range of books to read from our Headteacher's reading challenge selection and our genre based story boxes and also explore a range of texts in our 'Take one Book' reading hour sessions.
The reading Gladiators work in a small group to explore complex texts, that they might not otherwise pick to read.
