Who does this belong to?
We enjoyed looking at what was in the bag. We thought it must be old becuase it was dusty and a bit broken. The stethoscope made us think that it could belong to a doctor and the bandages could belong to a nurse or a doctor.
'They might need the lantern to see in the dark.' 'The bangages might be for soldiers in the war.'
Hot Seating
We dressed up as Florence Nightingale. We used what we knew about Florence to answer questions about her life and her work.
Neil Armstrong - the first man to walk on the moon.
We learnt about Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins going to the moon.
We acted put going to the moon in the Apollo 11 rocket and landing on the moon.
As we stepped on the moon we all said the famous phrase 'one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind'.

What was it like to play with toys from the past?
We enjoyed learning about the history of the teddy bear. We used our knowledge of teddy's to order them by age. We also tried playing games and using toys from Victorian times. The Jacob's ladder and the acrobatic monkey were firm favourites.
